We conduct quality control through the following aspects:
I. Composition Standards
- Surfactant Content: The surfactant content in laundry detergent pods should not exceed 3%, with no more than 30% of that being sulfated alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs).
- Environmental Compliance: The pods must adhere to national environmental standards to ensure no harm to the environment during use.
II. Visual Quality
- Shape and Size: Laundry detergent pods should be spherical or irregularly shaped, with a diameter ranging from 25mm to 50mm.
- Color and Impurities: The color should be uniform, with no visible sediment, impurities, or foreign matter.
- Physical Defects: Pods should be dense, smooth, odor-free, and brightly colored. There should be no physical defects such as cracks, tears, or breakage.
III. Packaging Requirements
- Sealing: Laundry detergent pods should be packaged in a sealed container to ensure product quality and safety.
- Labeling Information: The packaging should include product name, specifications, production date, expiration date, and other necessary information for consumer understanding and selection.
IV. Particle Size and Weight
- Particle Size Range: The particle size of laundry detergent pods should be between 1mm and 5mm, with less than 10% falling outside this range.
- Weight Proportion: The weight ratio between large and small pods in each kilogram should be within 1:1 to 2:1 to ensure optimal cleaning performance.
V. Washing Performance
- Effectiveness: The washing performance of laundry detergent pods should exceed the standards set by clothing care manuals to ensure the cleanliness of clothes. The pods should effectively remove stains and dirt from fabrics during the washing process.
VI. Pressure Resistance
- Pressure Test: The pressure resistance of laundry detergent pods is crucial for quality control. A pressure test ensures that the pods do not rupture easily during handling and use, preventing leakage of detergent. It also guarantees that the pods can evenly and persistently release their cleaning ingredients during the washing process, enhancing the washing effect.
VII. Standard Development and Enforcement
- Standard Development: The development of laundry detergent pod standards should be based on scientific research and market demand, with the active participation and input of relevant institutions and experts.
Through the above seven aspects of quality control measures, we can ensure that the composition, appearance, packaging, particle size, weight, washing performance, pressure resistance, etc. of the laundry beads meet relevant standards and consumer needs.
